PROPERTIES
Cementitious, flexible, white tile adhesive reinforced with acrylic resins. It is distinguished for its strong adhesion, zero vertical slip, its resistance to moisture and frost. Its high thixotropy allows coatings up to 15 mm thick without being "seated", and it has a large open-end time. It is classified as C2TE S1 according to EN 12004 and EN 12002. Certification measurements were made at the accredited European Institute ZUS (No 0100-28453 / 28692).
APPLICATIONS The GOLD adhesive is suitable for adhesion of low and non-absorbent tiles, such as granite, glazing, cotto, klinker, porcellanato, porcellanato smaltato and decorative bricks, small or large (fig. 5-6). It is ideal for all types of fixed substrates, such as floor cements, spreadable cementitious substrates, prefabricated concrete walls, old tiles, mosaic and marble slabs. It is distinguished for its resistance to contractions in indoors, such as underfloor heating (fig. 3), but also in outdoor exposed areas with intense temperature changes, such as terraces and terraces. The welding it offers stands out for its durability in areas with constant moisture, such as swimming pools, swimming pools, fountains, bathrooms (fig. 2), showers and more. Its high thixotropy allows tiles to be glued to the walls from top to bottom. It is suitable for heavy traffic areas, such as car shows, airport halls, shopping malls, super markets, dining areas (fig. 1), public areas, etc. The addition of DUROSTICK Acrylic Emulsion to the mixing water, in a 1: 1 ratio, improves its technical characteristics to meet the requirements of Group S2 (very elastic adhesive) according to EN 12002.
METHOD OF USE
1. Surface preparation The mounting surface must be clean, free from dust, dirt, paint, grease, oils and moistened prior to application. Absorbent substrates as well as porobeton need to be primed with DUROSTICKs acrylic lactate or D-20, in a 1: 1 mixing ratio with water. Gypsum boards need to be primed with AQUAFIX micromolecular stabilizer or DUROSTICK SOLAR STYLE. or DUROSTICKs acrylic emulsion.
2. Application Empty the powder into pure water, at a rate of 2 parts water to 5 parts powder or 7-7.5 lt water to 25 kg powder (1.4-1.5 lt for 5 kg) and stir with a drill. at low speed until a homogeneous mass without pellets is created. Allow the mixture to cure for 5-10 minutes and stir occasionally, without adding additional water. It is applied with a serrated spatula, applying the adhesive onto the substrate. Then we comb as much surface area as necessary to work for the next 15-30 minutes (depending on the weather), thus avoiding the creation of a towel. Finally, place the tiles in the selected position, hitting them softly with a rubber hammer.
CONSUMPTION 3-5 kg ??/ m², depending on the size of the spatulas tooth and the smoothness of the surface.
High strength flexible tile adhesive
Cementitious flexible white tile adhesive, non-slip. Suitable for tiles such as granite, glazing, klinker, cotto, porcelannato, smaltato and decorative bricks, indoors and outdoors.
