PROPERTIES

Resin-free, fine-grained smoothing cement mortar with high covering capacity. It is only enough to add water to create a lightweight paste, which spreads gently, creating a durable surface coverage, without imperfections and cracks, on the inner and outer surfaces.

APPLICATIONS

The high coverage of POWDER COAT (covering 1-4 mm imperfections) offers a complete solution for the preparation of walls and ceilings made of marble, clear concrete, porobeton elements and gypsum boards. The economy achieved by reducing the number of overlapping coatings makes POWDER COAT an indispensable material ready to be primed and painted. Any plastering imperfections, which are particularly evident on dark-painted surfaces, are covered with a single POWDER COAT coating. Where a velvety surface is required, POWDER COAT coating of a DUROSTICK STUCOFIX-P is possible.

USE

1. Surface preparation

To ensure good adhesion of the material, the application surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free from loose spots and dust. Any formwork oils that are present are removed with a biodegradable BIOCLEAN oil cleaner (for industrial use).

Avoid applying the product when the ambient or surface temperature exceeds 35 ° C. Wipe carefully, especially on the outer surfaces, to ensure optimum adhesion conditions and eliminate the risk of dehydration, which will result in reduced durability.

2. Application

Mix the material with pure water at a ratio of 25 kg powder: about 8 lt water (1.6 lt: 5 kg), stirring with a low speed drill, until a homogeneous lump-free paste is prepared after 5 minutes. Removing 1 lt of water and replacing it with 1 lt of DUROSTICK acrylic emulsion D-20 or DUROSTOP increases its resistance to moisture on exterior surfaces as well as its adhesion to paint. The material is applied with a spatula in 2 coats. The second coat follows after the first coat (after 2-3 hours).
