SIKA - CarboDur S 512 ROLE 250m - 5712

Sika CarboDur plates® are produced by the method of extruding carbon fibers in a polymeric matrix (IOP) and are part of the structural reinforcement system for interventions in concrete, wood, metal, masonry and composite filamented polymers. They are pasted on the construction as external reinforcement, but also on notches as an integration weapon near the surface, using epoxy resins of the Sikadur series®-30 for application in normal conditions and / or at high temperatures during application and / or operation.
In addition, the epoxy resin Sikadur®-300 can be used for horizontal applications, as well as the Sika AnchorFix®-3+ in amposary packaging.

APPLICATIONS

The structural reinforcement system Sika CarboDur is used to improve, increase or restore the structural integrity of structures for:

  • Increase of carrying capacity
  • Damage to structural members
  • Improving functionality and durability
  • Reduce a bending arrow and crack range
  • Change of static system
  • Resistance to possible catastrophic events
  • Restoration of design or construction defects

CHARACTERISTICS / ADVANTAGES

  • They are not eroded
  • Very high strength
  • Excellent resistance and resistance to fatigue
  • Available in long lengths, without requiring bleeds
  • Particularly small thickness allowing cross-referencing or successive applications
  • Easy transportation (rolls)
  • Particularly low weight, with easy installation process especially in ceiling applications (without requiring temporary support)
  • Minimum preparation of the laminate, applicable to several layers
  • Clean edges without exposed fibers thanks to the extruding process
  • Extensive number of tests and approvals from many countries worldwide

APPEARANCE / COLOR

Incopied carbon polymers in an epoxy matrix, black.
