The DRYGRES series of diamond drills is recommended for drilling all types of ceramic tiles, special porcelain tiles and other coating materials such as marble and granite.

In the DRYGRES series of drills, RUBI has used VACUUM BRAZED technology, which increases temperature resistance and friction, to fasten diamond particles to the cutting area.

DRYGRES drills, 6-12 mm in diameter are ideal for installing bathroom accessories or any type of decoration accessories on ceramic surfaces.

Other diameters in the EASYGRES diamond range, from 20 to 75 mm, are mainly designed to fix ceramic tiles to have the best results when performing the necessary drilling for water tap points, sewers, electrical connections, etc.
DRYGRES diamond drill pieces are made for dry cutting and can be used, thanks to their connection to an M14 thread, directly with a drill with a grinder or non-impactor, using the drill adapter (reference 05976).

The average lifespan of DRYGRES drills varies depending on the diameter. In diameters 6-12 mm the average life span is 25 holes and in DRYGRES from 20-75 mm the average life span is 60 holes.

The average life of the drills always depends on the type of material, its thickness, proper cooling and use.

The drilling depth of the DRYGRES drills is 36 mm.

In diameters of 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, DRYGRES contain wax inside.

This wax melts during the use of the drill and facilitates the cooling and removal of the drilling residue (if the wax is exhausted, the drill can continue to operate, only the total loss of the diamond indicates the end of the drill life).

DRYGRES drills (diameters 20-75 mm) have a side opening that improves the cooling of the drill and facilitates the removal of solid residues after each drilling.

Before further drilling we must ensure that the drill is clean and free from obstacles.

The maximum speed of use for DRYGRES diamonds is 14000 rpm.

For a better finish and longer drill duration, it is important to observe the correct rotational speed and make only a light orbital motion during drilling.
