Transparent liquid impregnation, Silloxanthan base, with high penetrating capacity (micro technology). Suitable for waterproofing and protection of putties of tiles, from moisture and ice.

The invisible protection offered by the DUROSTICK D-16 on the surface of the joints does not affect their colouring and prevents the alteration of the colour from the frequent cleaning of stains such as coffee, wine, soft drinks, oils, ink, pet pollutants, Sludges, etc.

Joints presenting capillary cracks from expansions and contractions, due to high temperature or frost, are sealed, thereby preventing moisture and water absorption, with two coatings D-16 D-16 protects the Grouts effectively from the secretion of salts, created due to the absorption of moisture in the joints. Its easy to use packaging facilitates the application, in the joints of tiles, granite, natural or artificial stones as well as in glass blocks. Its use is recommended at least 20 days after the grouting of the tiles.

1. Application Preparation

Clean the joints thoroughly with a damp sponge. If they are strongly stained, it is recommended to use the biodegradable detergent bioclean of DUROSTICK (for tile joints). If there are building residues, we use DUROSTICK acid tile cleaner (after at least 20 days after the grouting). After shaking the D-16, pierce the top of the tank with a pin. Do not cut with a knife or scissors, because it does not control its flow during application.

2. Application

Press the container lightly, allowing the flow of the amount needed to cover the joint. The next coating is applied as long as the first remains fresh. Any residues in the application are cleaned with acetone.

1 LT/25-50 m² per layer, depending on the dimensions of the tiles • If there are capillary cracks in the joints, it is recommended to apply 2 more coatings.

• The application of the product must be made at least 20 days after grouting.
