Cement-reinforced concrete corrosion inhibitor. With strong anti-corrosion in its composition, it protects the reinforcement of concrete from the infestation of rust created by the ingress of moisture or water. RUST FREE POWDER seals the armature and relieves the danger of corrosion. Due to its high adhesive capacity it works as a substrate between new and old concrete or mortar

RUST FREE POWDER is necessary to protect the uncovered concrete reinforcement due either to carbonization or to incomplete spills and earthquake damage. It is also recommended to apply the preventive application to particularly thin walls of concrete, for the protection of iron reinforcement in a permanent humidity environment. It is suitable as a bridge of adhesion between old and new concrete.

1. Surface Preparation

Reinforcing steel: Clean the armature from slag, powders, oils to a degree Sa2 1/2 according to DIN 55928-4.

Concrete: The surfaces are free from flimsy spots, powders, oils and thoroughly soaked.

2. Application

Add the RUST FREE POWDER to water, in Proportion, RUST FREE POWDER: Water, 4:1 by volume, stirring until a homogeneous mass without lumps is created, so thick that it stands on the brush without dripping.

As an anti-corrosion coating

The material is applied with a brush in two coatings of 1mm thickness with a difference of 2-3 hours between them.
