The drill range in the MINI DRYGRES Kit is recommended for drilling all types of ceramic tiles, especially porcelain tiles and other masonry materials such as marble and granite.

In the drills of the MINI DRYGRES kit, RUBI used the VACUUM BRAZED technology, which increases the resistance to temperature and friction in order to secure the diamond particles in the cutting area.


The drills in the MINI DRYGRES Kit are ideal for installing bathroom accessories or any kind of decoration accessory on ceramic surfaces.

Diamond DRYGRES drills are made for dry cutting and can be used, thanks to a M14 threaded connection, directly with a drill or non-drilling drill, using the drill (ref. 05976).

The average lifespan of MINI DRYGRES drills (6-12 mm) is 25 holes.

The average life span of drills always depends on the type of material, the thickness, the proper cooling and use.

The drilling depth of the DRYGRES drills is 36 mm.

The drills in the MINI DRYGRES kit contain wax inside. This wax melts when using the drill and facilitates cooling and emptying the perforation remains. Before further drilling we must ensure inside the drill that no ceramic residues remain in the solidified wax.

If the wax is exhausted, the drill can continue to operate. Only the total loss of the diamond indicates the end of the life of the drill.

The maximum speed of use for diamond DRYGRES drills is 14000 rpm.

For a better finish and longer drill length, it is important to adhere to the correct rotational speed and to make a small orbital motion during drilling.
