THE SUITABLE HARDENER  FOR VIVEMETAL ACCORDING TO VIVECHROM IS VIVEHARD WITH CODE 46072

VIVEMETAL is a duco of high hardness and high strength for metals. It is an ideal color for doors, railings, iron structures, tools, industrial equipment, machinery and for any surface where an unsurpassed glossy or satin finish is desired. It dries quickly and retains its gloss and hue, even in the most adverse weather conditions. With the addition of VIVEHARD hardener, faster drying and much greater hardness are achieved.

Type: Alkyd varnish paint specially modified. Specific gravity: 0,95 to 1,20 ? 0,01 gr/cm3 , depending on the shade. Viscosity: 6-8 ps (ROTOTHINNER DIN 51550, 25°C). Method of application: Brush, roller or gun. Yield: 13-15 m2/lt per layer on properly prepared surfaces, depending on the shade. Drying: Superficially dry in 2-4 hours. With the addition of hardener VIVEHARD dries in about 1-3 hours. It is repainted after 24 hours. These times vary depending on weather conditions (humidity, temperature). Shades: Available in white, black as well as in a full range of RAL shades and the Best Collection fan through Vivechroms COLOR COMPOSITIONS system. 

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from defective or poor consistency materials, dust, oils and salts. • Treatment such as dry sanding, use of flame to cut or weld painted surfaces will create dust and/or dangerous fumes. Liquid scrubbing should be used where possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by providing local ventilation, appropriate respiratory protection equipment should be used. • For corrosion protection of metal surfaces use RUST PRIMER. 

APPLICATION

Before application, the surfaces are sanded with appropriate sandpaper. • If dilution is required during application, add up to 3% BRUSH THINNER and for a gun up to 20% PISTOL THINNER. • Stir well and apply 2 hands VIVEMETAL. • Application and drying at a temperature of 10°C to 35°C.

APPLICATION WITH VIVEHARD HARDENER

Add to VIVEMETAL 10%- 15% VIVEHARD. Stir well and apply. The mixture to which VIVEHARD has been added should be used within 4 hours.
