VIVEPOOL is a two-component epoxy solvent paint for swimming pools. It has excellent adhesion, elasticity, high gloss and hardness and exhibits high abrasion resistance. It is highly resistant to chemicals, water, seawater and sunscreen oils. Its special composition and its high resistance to chlorination chemicals make it an ideal color for swimming pools. It is combined with the two-component epoxy substrate VIVEPOX PRIMER 100 by Vivechrom.

Type: Two-component, epoxy resin based paint Mixing ratio: A / B = 4/1 volume Mixture life time: 6 hours at 20°C, 4 hours at 40°C. Method of application: Roller, brush, airless gun Specific gravity of Mixture: 1,30±0,02 gr/cm3 (ISO 2811) (A: Blue 1,40±0,02 A: White 1,39±0,02 B:0,93±0,02 gr/cm3 ) Dilution: Ready to use Performance: Approx. 12 m²/ Lt, per layer of 37 μm dry film thickness, on properly prepared surfaces Drying: To the touch in about 2 hours at 25oC and 50% relative humidity, complete hardening in 10 days. These times vary depending on weather conditions (humidity, temperature). Recoat time: Minimum: 8 hours, Maximum: 2 days. SURFACE PREPARATION

Surfaces must be clean and dry, free from loose materials or paints in poor condition, dust, oils and salts. ? New concrete or cement surfaces must be painted at least one month after their construction. ? Surfaces already painted with one-component paints should be thoroughly cleaned with solvents or mechanical means, while two-component paints and generally smooth surfaces should be thoroughly sanded. Fungi and algae are cleaned with FUNGICIDAL CLEANING FLUID of Vivechrom. ? Treatment such as sanding, flame cleaning, etc. of painted surfaces may create hazardous dust and/or fumes. Work in a well-ventilated area. Necessarily use appropriate personal protective equipment. 

APPLICATION

Ready to use. ? Apply one hand of VIVEPOX PRIMER 100 substrate and after 8 hours VIVEPOOL. ? Mix the two components of VIVEPOOL, after mixing each one very well, and stir until completely homogenized. ? After 30 minutes apply a VIVEPOOL hand and after it dries well apply 1-2 hands according to recommended recoat times. The paint acquires its final properties 7- 10 days after applying the final layer. ? The paint is applied and allowed to dry at a temperature of 10oC to 35oC. Avoid intense perchlorination and strictly follow the instructions for use of the chlorination chemicals supplier for the maintenance of pool water.
