Durovit is a transparent acrylic solvent substrate, which waterproofs and allows surfaces to "breathe". It exhibits strong adhesion and penetrates porous surfaces, such as plaster, exposed concrete, bricks, plasterboard, etc., as well as surfaces painted with lime or glue. It exhibits high moisture resistance and is ideal for surfaces that are going to be painted with water-soluble paints (plastics, acrylic, insulation, relief, etc.).

PREPARATORY WORK

Surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free of dust, remnants of mould or any loose materials.

APPLICATION

The product is thoroughly stirred before use. It is applied in one layer with a roller, brush or airless gun. For application to walls, it is diluted up to 100% with Brush Thinner T 300 and for terraces up to 30%. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5οC, higher than 35οC and/or relative humidity above 80%.The product is dry to the touch in 1 hour and repainted after 4-6 hours with plastic or acrylic Vitex paints. These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature).Rollers, brushes and stains on the floor are cleaned with Brush Thinner T 300 and then with soap or detergent.
