Water-soluble paint based on special acrylic resins and metal pigments, specially designed to give an impressive metallic finish to any surface. It can be used to decorate walls, columns, ceilings, plasterboard, but also surfaces made of wood, plastic or metal, after appropriate preparation. But Vitex Metallico does not only give a wonderful aesthetic result. Due to the high reflection capacity of infrared radiation (IR), it also contributes to the thermal insulation of buildings. Walls painted with Vitex Metallico help maintain a constant room temperature by acting as a natural air conditioner. It is practically odorless during its application because it does not contain ammonia.

NUANCES
Available in 3 shades: 500 Pandora (silver), 520 Helios (gold) and 530 Selene (bronze).
The 500 Pandora shade is also used as the basis for creating 30 recommended color chart shades through Vitexs Colorfull Tinting System.

PREPARATORY WORK

The surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free of dust, oil or any loose materials.For puttying holes and spatulating any cracks, Acrylic Building Putty or Visto is used.Old water-colored surfaces (with lime or glue) are primed with Acrylan Unco Eco or Durovit.New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, bricks, plasterboard, etc., as well as spatulated surfaces are primed with 100% Acrylic Primer or Acrylan Unco Eco or Blanco Eco.Surfaces soiled by nicotine, tobacco, markers, coffees and other types of stains are primed with Blanco Eco or Vitosin.Wooden surfaces are primed with Water Velatura.Surfaces made of PVC, aluminum, glass, etc. are primed with Glossy Primer.Metal surfaces are primed with anti-rust substrate, such as Metal Primer, Anti-Rust Primer, etc.

APPLICATION

The product is thoroughly stirred before use. It is applied in two layers with a roller, brush or airless gun and diluted up to 10% with water. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5οC, greater than 35οC and/or relative humidity above 80%.The product is dry to the touch in 1-2 hours and repainted after 6-8 hours. These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature).Surfaces painted with Vitex Metallico are washed using a soft sponge with water and in case of stubborn stains with soft, colorless detergent, after at least three weeks from painting.The tools are cleaned immediately after use with water and if necessary with soap or detergent.
