The Sika Boom®-521 FoamFix is one component, highly limited bulking, fast curing polyurethane foam applied with pistol. It is particularly suitable for thermal insulation systems-Thermofacade.

Applications

Sika Boom®-521 FoamFix is particularly easy to use on plasterboard and the following insulating materials:

Extruded polystyrene plates (XPS)
Styrofoam – Expanded polystyrene plates (EPS)
Wood fibreboard
Cork Plates
Polyurethane boards/Polyisocyanuria (PUR/PIR)

Also used for:

Installation of insulating panels and filling of created gaps in the application of the adhesive
Welding of wooden building materials in concrete, metals, etc.
All types of applications requiring polyurethane foam with limited swelling
For installing and isolating window and door frames
