The FID insulation plug is suitable for fastening light objects to plastered and unplastered polystyrene or polyurethane boards. It is easily installed by hand with a screwdriver or with a cordless screwdriver. Objects such as mailboxes, light fixtures or motion detectors can be fixed with 4.5 to 6 mm diameter screws.

The special screwing of the FID allows easy installation in thin layers of plaster without pre-drilling.
FID 50 is applied to insulation boards over 50mm thick. FID 90 is applied to thicker insulation boards and can carry higher loads.
