The DRYGRES diamond drills range is suggested for drilling all types of ceramic tiles, especially porcelain tiles, and other coating materials such as marble and granite.
In the DRYGRES drill series, RUBI used VACUUM BRAZED technology, which increases resistance to temperature and abrasion, to fasten diamond particles to the cutting area.
DRYGRES drills, with a diameter of 6-12 mm are ideal for placing bathroom accessories or any type of decorative accessory on ceramic surfaces.
Other diameters of the EASYGRES diamond series of pieces, from 20 to 75 mm, are mainly designed for fastening ceramic tiles to get the best results when performing the necessary drilling for water tap points, sewers, electrical connections, etc.
DRYGRES diamond drills are made for dry cutting and can be used, thanks to their connection with an M14 thread, directly to a grinder or non-impact electric drill, using the drill adapter (code 05976).
The average service life of DRYGRES drills varies depending on the diameter.
At diameters of 6-12 mm the average service life is 25 holes, and in DRYGRES from 20-75 mm the average service life is 60 holes.
The average service life of drills always depends on the type of material, its thickness, proper cooling and use.
The drilling depth of DRYGRES drills is 36 mm.
In diameters of 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, DRYGRES contain wax inside.
This wax melts during the use of the drill and facilitates cooling and evacuation of the piercing remains (if the wax is exhausted, the drill can continue to work, only the total loss of the diamond indicates the end of the life of the drill).
DRYGRES drills (diameter 20-75 mm) have a side opening that improves the cooling of the drill and facilitates the removal of solid residues after each puncture.
Before further drilling we must make sure that the drill is clean and free from any obstacle.
The maximum speed of use for DRYGRES diamond drills is 14000 rpm.
For a better finish and longer duration of the drill, it is important to observe the correct rotational speed and make only a slight orbital movement during drilling.
