HAMMERITE - Metal Color Directly to Rust Satin 750ml

Hammerite is a specially designed metal paint for application directly to rust.
It acts as an anti-slag primer, substrate and final color.

Type: Color of specially modified alkyd resins

Method of application: Brush, roller, pistol.

Dilution: Apply with brush: Ready to use. If dilution is needed during the application, add up to 3% vol. HAMMERITE TOOL THINNER .
Application with pistol: Up to 15% with SOLVENT & CLEANER OF HAMMERITE TOOLS.
Efficiency: 3,5 – 5 m2/L for two layers on properly prepared surfaces.
Drying: To the touch after 1-2 hours. It is repainted after 4 hours. These times vary depending on the weather conditions (humidity, temperature).
Shades: Glossy: 12 ready-made shades | Wrought: 9 ready-made shades of | Satin: 3 ready-made shades | Methalize: 6 ready-made shades.
Storage: Store at a temperature from 5° C to 40° C. If you do not use the entire amount of the product, close the container tightly for subsequent use.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Rub the surface and remove loose rust, loose residues, dust, fats, salts.
Treatment such as scrubbing, flame cleaning, etc. of painted surfaces can create dangerous dust and/or fumes. Work in a well-ventilated area.
You necessarily use appropriate personal protective equipment.
On galvanized, aluminum and zinc surfaces: Use the Hammerite Special Metals Primer primer.

APPLICATION

Light stirring before use. Do not mix the shades.
With brush: WITHOUT DILUTION. Apply 2 thick layers completely covering the corners and edges of the surface. If dilution is needed, add up to 3% vivechrom pistol extender.
Conventional pistol (air): Dilute with Vivechrom Pistol Extender at a ratio of 15% and so on.
Set the pistol to 25/35 psi to the maximum volume.
Apply 4 thin layers, with breaks of 1 hour between layers.
