VIVELOCK METALLIZED is a protective and decorative paint that is applied directly to rusty metal surfaces, without the need for anti-rust primer, and gives the painted surface a wonderful textured matte metallic finish. It also has good adhesion to galvanized surfaces. It is the easy and effective solution for the decoration, protection and renewal of metal surfaces, inside and outside the house and modern buildings, such as doors, railings, handrails, columns, small objects. It offers excellent corrosion protection and its shades remain unchanged for a long time. It has strong adhesion, very good spreading and gives an impressive result. 

Type: Color of specially modified alkyd resins. Specific gravity: 1,49 - 1,52 gr/cm3, depending on the shade (ISO 2811) Viscosity: 11,5 – 12,5 P (ROTOTHINNER DIN 51550, 25° C) Method of application: Brush, gun. Dilution: Brush application: Ready to use. If dilution is needed, add up to 3% by volume. VIVECHROM BRUSH THINNER use. Pistol application: Up to 25% by volume with VIVECHROM PISTOL THINNER. Yield: Approximately 3.5 - 7 m2 per liter on properly prepared surfaces, for a dry film thickness of 150 - 75 μm respectively. Drying: To the touch in 4 hours and repaint after 24 hours. These times vary depending on weather conditions (humidity, temperature) Shades: Available in 6 shades of color chart. 

PREPARATION

Surfaces must be clean and dry. ? Treatment such as dry sanding, use of flame to cut or weld painted surfaces will create dust and/or dangerous fumes. Liquid scrubbing should be used where possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by providing local ventilation, appropriate respiratory protection equipment should be used

APPLICATION

Brush application: Ready to use. Apply 2 thick hands VIVELOCK METALLIZED. ? Pistol application: Apply 3 hands VIVELOCK METALLIZED diluted to 25% with PISTOL THINNER. ? Ensure that all corners and hard-to-reach areas of the surface are properly covered so that there are no small holes that allow moisture to seep in.
